The CancerHelpers Privacy Statement

CancerHelpers has created this privacy statement in order to articulate our firm commitment to privacy.  The following discloses our information-gathering and dissemination practices for this website.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.  Specifically, all secure information is only accessible through password-protected accounts held by CancerHelpers.  Our site always uses a secure server with 128-bit encryption to transmit all financial data, as well as to send us health-related information prior to a medical consultation.  We never ask customers to send this type of sensitive information via regular email.

Privacy

As a licensed medical professional, Dr. Thomas S. Lee, NMD, maintains the high standard of patient confidentiality that is mandated by his licensure, and the CancerHelpers business and website reflect this same standard of practice.  All patient health information is treated with the utmost regard to confidentiality, and medical records can only be released upon receipt of a written request from the patient.

Regarding Spam

As with many other online merchants, our CancerHelpers domain name is being "spoofed" on the Internet;  that is, used fraudulently in return addresses for unsolicited email messages that may contain viruses.  We never send out spam, and you run no risk of receiving additional spam by visiting this site or ordering from the CancerHelpers Store.  If you have any concerns about this, please feel free to phone in your order.  We abhor the recent proliferation of spam and viruses, and assure you -- it's not coming from us.

We may use a user's IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site.  Individual information is never sold to third parties.

Our site uses a secure order form using strong 128-bit encryption for customer requests of information, products, and services.  For order fulfillment purposes, we collect the visitor's contact information (such as their email address) and financial information (such as their credit card number).  Such financial information is used only to charge or credit customers for products and services they have purchased.  Such contact information is used to send orders and information about our company to existing customers.  Users may opt out of receiving future mailings as described in the Opt Out section below.

This site contains links to other websites.  CancerHelpers is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of other sites.

Opt Out

Users may remove their information from our database if they do not wish to receive future communications or services by using the opt-out function at the end of any message we send.
